Due to lowlife spammers and bot emails for everything from miracle drugs that will make me 11 feet tall overnite(no side effects)....to purchasing low mileage gov't SUV's with nothing but a cup of uranium and some really cool seashells, I had to pull the comments auto entry form. All emails can be instead forwarded the old school way: randy@zoupwerks.com Thank you for your cooperation.

I love critics. Especially shadow lurking ones.
They make it seem almost acceptable to pass judgment off onto
others accomplishments and endeavors, when they have zero history
of performing said tasks any better than those whom they are judging!
I buy only the best products, which is why sometimes the sandwiches
are available, and sometimes not. Telling me that I enter low rent, on
sale product into my menu, is a great invitation for you to not
patronize Zoupwerks ever again. The restaurant is an open concept
and my menu is name brand titled for a reason: because I offer only
what I would expect to get when I pay money for food. Nice try on the
slam.
Oh...and my soups are great, not just good. Over 100 customers a
day will thoroughly disagree with you on your baseless statement. I
am certain that you are already familiar with people disagreeing with
you anyway.
Next time, judge on a non-anonymous level, and respect and
credence shall be lent to your opinions.

Randy, As always the food was fantastic. We got your sandwiches this
time and we couldn't even eat all of it at one sitting. We have several
food establishments within walking distance of our shop, but I guarantee
you we will drive to your restaurant to get your soups and sandwiches
first. Always filling and
tastes fantastic.

Its great to have the best soups and the
best choices around for meals. I even
took some leftover soup to cook up with
some chicken and it was delicious!

I have eaten at your establishment several time and I will never come
back I was eating one of your most dee-lish egg salad sandwiches and I
bit down into a large egg shell!! In my opinion you should pay more
attention when you are preparing your food.
Rosanne Blake
cally'smom@yahoo.com
You said, in part:"In my opinion you should pay more attention when you
are preparing your food."
Okay, well if you are never coming back again, then your opinion is
moot!
Good luck in the perfect world that you seek...the one without the
occasional imperfect sandwich, and car accidents, and incurable
diseases, and poor spelling, and bad reality shows, and 3 day
rainstorms when you just seeded your lawn, and...well anything that the
rest of us just assume is part of living our lives...even if it does include
the occasional eggshell.

A thank you to Randy and this "most needed" comforting and off-beat
reason to feed the masses!
Hi, Randy and workers at Zoupwerks!! We recently took into your
Zazzy place 5 friends and we all tried a different kind of "ZOUP"..as well
as a ham-stacked sand. We were just so impressed with it, and your
personal touches as you zoomed around your kitchen, preparing yet
more zoups for the day??? How you rest ever, no one knows?? We
loved the mac&cheese, spinach and lobster soup and the special 70's
atmosphere...You really ROCK,Randy!!!

Love what you've done with the place!
I hope you've been amply advertising across the street at Kent

Have you thought of different kinds of cole slaw?
Diane
dfilkorn@kent.edu
Great idea on the cole slaw..and I am not just saying that.
I like the suggestion and will look into it as the weather gets warmer.
Well you have gone and done it. You have ruined soup for me. I don't
know what I have been eating up until now but it was clearly not SOUP!
Now I can't order soup anywhere else without expecting disappointment.
Thanks - really.

First off, I'm an actual food critic. I've a palette trained on the west
coast, san francisco to be exact. its commonly known as a highly
acclaimed food spot worldwide. That being said, I thank you for your
attention to your vegan and vegetarians clients. In this area finding
consistant service for vegetarians is very difficult. Next, your service is
admirable. The environment and mood created is fun and inviting. As
for food, one eggshell is certainly embarrassing but not life threatening
nor going to be the demise of your establishment. I've never felt as if I
wasn't being given proper attention. At peak hours I don't expect
familiar banter and idle chit chat. When possible friendliness has never
been lacking nor forced. You provide a healthy economical choice in
an area where both are sadly lacking. Will I be back as a client? I'm
actually headed there this afternoon. If you happen to get a negative
comment, weigh its merits, fix what can be fixed. Continue to
focus on your product and service. Engaging in a dialogue to negative
comments is more often than not wasted energy especially in a public
forum. You have a wonderful business and that is in part to your
attitude and demeanor displayed daily with an inviting smile. The food
is well portioned and flavoured with a 'home cooked meal' seasoning
too often lacking in other establishments. Expect to hear from me again.

Maybe attitude is what it takes to make a
good stock, but after browzing through
your webzite I've come to suspect you're
certifiable.
Of course I'm committed now to come in &
try the food that sounds even tastier than
the decor.
I first became intrigued by the great
artwerk on the building, and took the web
addy home. I wont pass by again without
stopping.
It takes a lot of stone to put your rants up
on the site. Whether I agree or not, I'd
rather eat zoup made with conviction,
rather than pandering indifference.
Good luck with that.
JohnnyRingo
To clarify, I didn't mean to actually imply
you have a mental disorder, as I don't
know you. I was overexagerating your
offbeat business model.
I feared you would find the politically
incorrect comments offensive.
I wish you the best of luck, and will stop
soon.

Best wedding soup I've ever had, hands down. Stuffed pepper soup
was fantastic as well!
Please consider putting a flyer on Kent Trumbull Campus as there's
free bulletin boards. More people definitely need to take advantage of
a great place to eat that doesn't have a drive-thru.
Downtown Warren businesses would also love to have Zoupwerks
make a home on the square such as where Allesandro's was.
